I see the world around me as picture possibilities. Subject matter, light and composition are constantly being played out in my mind. When the subject is right I photograph it. Collection of these images are the source material for my work.

My “Winter Sun” series began as image captures during morning hikes in the Hudson Highlands. By combining naked trees silhouetted in a hazed sun with historic architectural structures I attempt to give scale and the suggestion of a human presence to these bleak landscapes.
