The Women in Photojournalism Conference is an educational program for both print and television photojournalists sponsored by The National Press Photographers Association.
There will be talented speakers who will inspire and rekindle your own commitment to the craft. The workshops will give you real tools for success. The conference will feature a juried exhibition, still and multimedia critiques, workshops on lighting, Adobe CS3, Final Cut Pro, multimedia production, and business practices.
A reception for the juried exhibition “Freedom of Expression” will be held at the Mckenna Museum of African American Art (2003 Carondelet Street) from 7 to 9pm. This event is open to the public.
