Bayou Rebirth open house

  • by

Our gallery neighbors, Bayou Rebirth, are having an open house October 1, the same night as Spirit World opening. Drop by and say hi!
Bayou Rebirth is a new nonprofit in New Orleans that focuses on wetlands
planting projects with volunteer groups, both visitors and locals. The
organization also does wetlands education programs in the schools, as well
as educational tables at events and presentations about wetlands loss and
restoration in Louisiana.

In March, Bayou Rebirth established its official headquarters at 1113 St.
Mary Street, Unit B. Bayou Rebirth shares the space with NewOrleansDog, a
graphic design and screenprinting business. For more information about Bayou
Rebirth, visit us on the web at www.bayourebirth.org. Our doors are always
open during business hours, so feel free to stop by to see the new space.

Thursday, October 1 we will hold an open house from 5 – 9 p.m. for folks
interested in learning more about Bayou Rebirth or just taking some time to
come say hello and enjoy some wine and cheese. Visitors can also “adopt” a
package of wetland plants to be planted by volunteers in the future, and get
an equal value of decorative plants as a gift!
