I’d like to extend an invitation to anyone interested in helping with PhotoNOLA, our annual December photo festival, to attend the committee meeting tomorrow evening.

Planning is well under way for Dec 2009. We’re looking for some more organizational level help with various aspects of the PhotoGALA (a benefit party and fun(d)raiser for the Photo Alliance), to be held Thur Dec 10 at NOMA. Food & Beverage Coordinator, Event Coordinator, someone to help with the art auction… There’s also plenty of space for organized and committed folks to jump in and help with all the other great events we have planned; portfolio reviews, workshops, lectures, etc. This is all volunteer based – so no cash – but your efforts will result in lots of fun, friendship and good karma.
Events this year will run from Dec 3 – 13, with the portfolio reviews falling on the second weekend – Dec 12 & 13. Our website will be updated with 2009 information in about a month. In the meantime, if you have any questions feel free to email me at info@photonola.org.
