FEASTival! ~ Forty Years at the Jazz Fest Table
For 40 Years, the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival presented by Shell has prided itself on a world renowned menu steeped in the culinary heritage of Louisiana and its numerous cultural influences. We are seeking photographs that capture the joy and revelry that can only come from dining
at Jazz Fest. Our preference is for unusual and interesting photographs (not just a snapshot of a sandwich or plate of food) which convey that a
Jazz Fest experience is not complete until you’ve had something to eat.
Photographers are invited to submit images for consideration for this annual Jazz Fest Photography Exhibition. Images taken at Jazz Fest over the years
will be considered.
Photographers may submit up to six images. These may be in the form of actual photographs or CD and delivered by Friday, March 20 between 10 am & 5 pm to the Foundation office at 1205 N. Rampart St., corner of Gov.
Nicholls.
Those who prefer to submit electronically may send by Friday, March 20 an email including name, address and phone number to gallery@nojhf.org and up to 6 images in low resolution jpg files maximum 72 dpi, approximate size: 5″x7″. Photographers will be notified by Monday March 30.
Accepted work must be framed, ready to hang and delivered to 1205 N. Rampart on Friday, April 17, between 10 am & 5 pm. The exhibition will open on Friday, April 24 at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival presented by Shell.
