In our 20th year, the New Orleans Photo Alliance has enriched the community of greater New Orleans, and the southern region as a whole, by sharing and fostering photographic visions through exhibitions, programming, an affordable resource center, the PhotoNOLA Festival, community partnerships, and grants for Louisiana and Gulf Coast area artists.

Deniz Türkoglu Hewes.

In this talk, Deniz will discuss art and human experience in relation to space, including traditional and extraordinary environments for exhibition and interaction with works of art. She will offer insights into her video piece, “Maintaining the Dollhouse” installed at the Contemporary Art Center for the group exhibition Refreshing America.
The CAC show opens on May 3rd with reception 6-9pm.
