Just wanted to give everyone an update on the good stuff that’s shaping up for December.
We’re finalizing the reviewer list for the PhotoNOLA Portfolio Reviews Dec 6 & 7, plan to open registration on July 15. Lots of great people are on board & lots of new faces this year. We should be able to accommodate 60 photographers, on a first come first serve basis. This year we’ll also be adding a Portfolio Walk on the evening of 6th, for photographers participating in the reviews to exhibit their work to the general public.
Here’s the December calendar as it currently stands. More things will certainly be added in the coming months.

PhotoNOLA Exibitions Listings
In an effort to get the word out earlier this year we need to know about any photo related exhibitions by August 1st, 2008. If you’re having a December show we can list in our PhotoNOLA promotional materials please send all the pertinent information to info@photonola.org.
Late submissions will not be included in PhotoNOLA’s print or website promotions. However, if you supply us with postcards relating to a December photography exhibition or event we will be happy to help distribute your materials at the Photo Alliance gallery and any informational tables we may set up at various events.
On this topic, we are also gathering a list of venues interested in hosting photographic exhibitions this December, as well as a list of photographers interested in showing work. We will make efforts to pair people up with appropriate spaces. The artist will be responsible for the framing and, in most cases, the hanging of the exhibition. If you’d like to be on the artist list, or know of a willing venue for hanging artwork, please email info@photonola.org.
