Submissions are now being accepted for, “Louisiana Purchase: National Biennial Exhbition,” a juried, multi-media exhibition of two-dimensional works, including photographs. that will be held next spring on the campus of Louisiana Tech University in Ruston LA.
Up to five images may be submitted by Jan 2, 2011. The fee for three image submissions is $30, and $35 for five images. The exhibit will run form March 2 to April 7 of the same year.
Works that may be submitted include drawings, paintings, photography, prints, graphic design, fiber, collage, paper, video, or any other type of two-dimensional work, exploring any theme. The exhibit juror will be Barbara Bloemink, an international independent curator and museum consultant who previously served as curatorial director of the Smithsonian Institution’s National Design Museum.
