The Programming Committee will meet Tuesday, April 21, 7:00 p.m. at the NOPA Gallery, 1111 St. Mary St.
The Programming Committee is responsible for developing
exhibitions, educational events, public forums, and exchange
programs with other similar institutions.
We have a couple of major things to concentrate our energies on: the Oct/Nov gallery show (a juried show entitled, “The Spirit World”) and the production of the Best of 2009 Photo Annual. For the gallery show we need your input on writing the call to artists and selecting a juror. For the Photo Annual we need a team of members to begin working on the details of the selection process as well as the down and dirty production of this beast.
As always, new ideas for NOPA Programming are always welcome. If you are unable to attend and want your ideas heard please email me @ thomnola@yahoo.com. I will present them for you.
Remember, your voice is the voice of the Photo Alliance so come and be heard. We have a lot to do and it doesn’t get done without you! Look forward to seeing you there. There will be pizza; BYOB.
