All right kids, Summer is over and it’s time to get back to work! We’ve got a lot going on in Programming and need as many enthusiastic, hard-working people as we can muster to get us through the remainder of the year.
The next exhibit is just around the corner and we will need help taking down Caliente and hanging Spirit World. In conjunction with Spirit World we would like to collaborate with the Vampire Film Festival that is moving from L.A. to New Orleans. (http://www.vampirefilmfestival.com/Home.html) We would like to help them put on a block party Saturday night, October 24 in front of our gallery. This will takes lots of coordination and we need someone to help us in that regard.
We also have the next Six Shooters scheduled for October 7 and another for December during PhotoNOLA. We are recruiting an Education Coordinator who will oversee this and other activities but still need ideas on who should be on the panel, etc.
As always, your ideas are most welcome. We are looking for workshops, speakers, etc. that will be of benefit to our membership.
