Call for Entries: The Invisible Age

  • by

Fellow artists,

I wanted to let you know about a call for entries for The Invisible Age exhibition at RayKo Gallery in San Francisco later this year. We have extended the deadline for submissions until MARCH 15, 2008.

There are some restrictions to qualifying for this exhibitions — the call for entries is for women photographers aged 50-65. I know that many of you do not fall into this category, but I’m including you on this mailing because I’m hoping you’ll help us spread the word to artists that do.

This will be a third incarnation of the The Invisible Age exhibition (an explanation of what the invisible age is follows.), which originally ran in Washington, DC, in 2006, and in Newton, NJ, in 2007. For more information about The Invisible Age, please see our website: www.theinvisibleage.com. We are putting out this call for entries because the RayKo Gallery is substantially larger than the other two and we will need many more images. In addition, we are hoping to add greater diversity to the show. The show will run September 5-October 10, 2008.

We have received a lot of interest in the show. If you have already submitted work, please note that you may, if you choose, submit additional images by the March 15 deadline without additional entry fee.

I’m including the call for entries, but please feel free to contact me or Jan Potts if you have questions or comments.
