Call for Submission: Jazz Fest Photography Exhibition 2008
Celebrate! New Orleans Cultures
Photographers are invited to submit works for the Jazz Fest Photography Exhibition presented in the Grandstand. This year, we are looking for images that illustrate the diversity of New OrleansÅf cultures, as families, neighborhoods and communities come together to celebrate their cherished traditions.
A second exhibit, Celebrate! New Orleans Food, will be displayed in the Food Heritage Stage area, so be sure to include photographs illustrating the important role that food plays in our cultures.
To be considered, you may submit up to six images. These may be in the form of actual photographs or CD and delivered on Friday, March 21 between 10 am & 5 pm to the Foundation office at 1205 N. Rampart St., corner of Gov. Nicholls.
Those who prefer to submit electronically may send by Friday, March 21 an email including name, address and phone number to percentforart@yahoo.com and up to 6 images in low resolution jpg files maximum 72 dpi, approximate size: 5×7.” Photographers will be notified by Monday April 7.
Accepted work must be framed and delivered to 1205 N. Rampart on Friday, April 18, between 10 am & 5 pm. The exhibition will open on Friday, April 25 at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival presented by Shell.
