Curator’s Talk at The Ogden, Sept 7

Join Curator of Photography, Richard McCabe, for a walk through of Mississippi Photographs: 1860’s – Present, currently on view at The Ogden Museum.

On September 7, 2011 at 10am he will share insights about the exhibition, the artists, and of course the photographs.

This event is free for Ogden members, $10.00 admission for non-members. 

Mississippi Photographs
1860’s – Present

This exhibition is a survey of Mississippi photography that spans over 150 years. The viewer will be taken through the cultural, social, political and environmental changes that have shaped and defined the state, emphasizing the deep ties that exist between the people of Mississippi and the land. The exhibition Includes photographs by Eudora Welty, William Eggleston, Jack Kotz, Stuart Klipper, Bruce West, Kathleen Robbins, and many others. On view August 6, 2011 through September 18, 2011.
