The Center for Fine Art Photography of Fort Collins, Colo. is seeking entries for a juried competition that will focus on alternative photography processes. The deadline for entry is Wednesday, Feb. 15.
All alternative photographuc processes are eligible for submission. The list of alternative types includes, but is not limited to: albumen, cyanotype, Van Dyke brown, platinum/palladium, gum bichromate, bromoil, salt print, ambrotype, tintype, image transfer, ziatype, wet plate collodian, callotype and daguerreotype.
Serving as juror will be artist and photographer Christopher James, director of the Master of Fine Arts program in photography at the Art Institute of Boston.
Winning entries will be exhibited at the Center and its website from May 25 to June 23, 2012.
Entry is open to all photographers, whether amateur or professional. The entry fee is $30 for three images for Center members, and $35 for non-members. Additional images may be submitted by either members or non-members for $10 each.
