Photographer (and NOPA member)Thom Bennett and Lens-Based Artist (and NOPA President) Sesthasak Boonchai will be teaching a two-day workshop (October 27 and 28 10 am to 4pm) in digital negatives and palladium/platinum printing.
We will be demonstrating a number of techniques that can used to create negatives from digital files for contact printing. The negatives made in class will be used for Palladium/Platinum prints, but the techniques can be applied towards a number of contact printing processes.
Students should have a good understanding of digital imaging and Photoshop as well as the basics of digital printing. Also, students should be comfortable with the fundamentals of photography. Students need to bring with them a digital image sized at 300 ppi for an 8″ x 10″ print.

Prerequisites: Attendees should have an understanding of digital printing with Photoshop, basics of color management. Also, an understanding of the fundamentals of film photography is also recommended.
