The Darkroom announces the opening of its exhibition for White Linen Night: flora, the art of nature by American-Dutch photographer, Elizabeth Kleinveld. This exhibition features work from Kleinveld’s most recent series of flower portraits, inspired by the masters of floral photography, including Cunningham, Blossfeldt and Mapplethorpe. A tribute to line, form and the beauty inherent to the flower itself, this series has recently been published by Museum Cards Amersfoort and will be shown with Franco Fontana’s photography at the Holland Art Fair in Utrecht in September.
Opening reception on Saturday August 1st from 6-9 PM.
