The Second Story Gallery of the New Orleans Healing Center, located in the St. Claude Arts District, will host an exhibit of Louisiana landscape and wildlife photography from NOPA member Lane Lefort, beginning this Saturday, Sept. 8.
An opening reception will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday.
The exhibit takes viewers deep into the Louisiana wetlands, its swamps and bayous. “Fog, rain and light are the tools I use to show the mood and richness of Louisiana,” the photographer said. “A lifetime of living here provides my inspiration.”
Lefort has worked for more than three decades as a New Orleans-based professional photographer.
The Second Story Gallery is located within the New Orleans Healing Center at 2372 St. Claude Ave, near the street’s intersection with St. Roch Ave.
