The U.S. Embassy in Moscow is sponsoring the show to highlight America’s diversity for Russian audiences. The exhibition’s focuses on contemporary cultural photography. The show features 80 to 100 framed color and black and white photographs curated from journalist, fine art and documentary photographers. The show will reveal the depth of Louisiana music, cuisine, dance, religion, street life, industry and trade, sport traditions, cultural geography and other cultural traditions of modern Louisianians, including indigenous peoples and Cajun communities. Multimedia Museum is the leading institution exhibiting photography in Moscow.
NOPA member and friend Frank Relle is curating the exhibition. Submission deadline is Sunday February 16th at 5pm.
