The Coup d’oeil Art Consortium of New Orleans is presenting works by NOPA member Grissel Giuliano in an exhibit, “Food Fight,” that addresses the relationship of people to their food. The exhibit, which began on Dec. 4, will run through Dec. 31.
The gallery is located at 2033 Magazine St. in the Lower Garden District. It is open every Wednesday through Saturday from noon to 5 p.m. and on Sundays and Mondays from 1 to 5 p.m. For more information, you may call (504) 722-0876, or visit the gallery’s website.
Meanwhile, more of Giuliano’s work can be seen at the Ogden Museum of Southern Art in the exhibit, “Emerge: St. Claude and Beyond,” through Thursday, Dec. 16. The exhibition features 41 emerging and mid-career artists who live and work in New Orleans, and documents the contemporary art scene of the St. Claude and Bywater arts districts.
