HomeSpace celebrates 5th anniversary with salon Saturday

The HomeSpace gallery of New Orleans’ St. Claude Arts District will celebrate five years of exhibiting this Saturday, Dec. 8, with a show–or a salon, more specifically–featuring the work of 40 artists. The event is set for 6 to 9 p.m.

The artists with work in the show (many NOPA members among them) will include the following

Joshua Alleman, Luis Cruz Azaceta, Muffin Bernstein, Mark Bercier, Lisette de Boisblanc, Brian St Cyr, Bruce Davenport Jr, Skylar Fein, Millie Fuller, Robert Hannant, John Isiah, Sharon Jacques, Jamara Johnson, Maria Levitsky, Louviere + Vanessa, Deborah Luster, Shawne Major, Richard McCabe, Jack Niven, Gary Oaks, Mary Jane Parker, Michael Pajon, Euphus Ruth, Josephine Sacabo, Jenny Sampson, Bruce Schultz, Loren Schwerd, Cynthia Scott, Elizabeth Shannon, Jen Shaw, Connie Shea, Judy Sherrod, Lisa Silvestri, Gayle Stevens, Robert Tannen, Brian Waitman, Eric Whitaker, Carl Joe Williams and Jeremy Wilson

The Laigniappe Brass Band will provide the evening’s music. Cocktails and “tasty treats,” as the gallery puts it, will be served.

HomeSpace is located at 1128 St. Roch Street, at the intersection with Marais Street in the city’s Claude Arts District.
