‘Human + Being’ exhibit deadline Jan. 12

The Colorado-based Center for Fine Art Photography has announced a final Call for Entry for its April Main Gallery Show, “Human + Being.” The deadline for online submissions at its website is midnight Pacific Standard Time (PST) on Wed., Jan. 12.

The exhibit juror is Phil Borges, a documentary photographer known for his work on indigenous and tribal cultures. He has hosted three television documentaries for the Discovery Network and National Geographic.

Awards will including the following:

  • Juror’s Selection: $300, a Blurb book award and feature on the Center blog
  • Director’s Selection: $200, a Blurb book award and feature on the blog
  • liveBooks Website Awards: Valued at $399 from liveBooks.com
  • Honorable Mention Awards: 2 year membership and a three image submission to a call for entry at the Center.

The exhibition is open to amateur and professional photographers worldwide. The Center invites photographers working in all mediums, styles and schools of thought to submit work. The entry fee is $35 for non-members, and $20 for members, for three images. Additional images may be submitted for $10 each.
