A workshop on close-up (or macro) nature photography, led by wildlife photographer John Pickles, is set for Friday, Nov. 8 at New Orleans’ Longue Vue House and Gardens.
The workshop is set for 1 to 5 p.m. Friday.
Pickles will help participants learn how best to use their cameras in capturing the “small wonders” of the garden, according to Longue Vue. The workshop will include a classroom portion and an outdoor segment.
Tuition is $20 for Longue Vue members and state-certified Master Naturalists, and $30 for non-members. Participation is limited to ten persons. For more information, you may call Hilairie at (504) 293-4726 or send an e-mail to hschackai@longuevue.com. You may also read more about the events at the Longue Vue website.
