Louisiana Tech seeks entries for 2nd national biennial exhibit

Submissions are now being accepted for, “Louisiana Purchase: 2nd National Biennial Exhbition,” a juried, multi-media exhibition of two-dimensional works, including photographs, set for early 2013 on the campus of Louisiana Tech University in Ruston. The entry deadline is Sunday, Nov. 18.

Up to five images may be submitted by 11:59 p.m. on Sunday. The fee for three image submissions is $30, and $35 for five images. All submissions may be uploaded at artlatech.slideroom.com. Works that may be submitted include any two- and three-dimensional works, exploring any theme.

The exhibit will run form January 15 to February 19, 2013. Serving as exhibit juror will be Dr. Paul Manoguerra, the chief curator and curator of American art at the Georgia Museum of Art at the University of Georgia.

Cash prizes will be awarded to winning entrants, including $500 (and a future solo exhibition at Louisiana Tech) for Best in Show, $300 for a Juror’s Choice and $100 each for two Honorable Mentions.
