Newcomb exhibit curator presents lecture at Tulane Thursday

Sara Krajewski, director of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee’s Institute of Visual Arts (INOVA), will present a lecture, “Moving Pictures,” at the Freeman Auditorium of Tulane University’s Woldenberg Art Center on Thursday, Sept. 13.

The lecture is being presented in connection with an ongoing exhibit at the Newcomb Art Gallery, “Image Transfer: Pictures in a Remix Culture,” for which Krajewski served as curator. The exhibit began in mid-August and runs through Sunday, Oct. 14.

“Moving Pictures” is set for 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday.

The event is free and open to the public. No advance reservations or tickets are required.
