NOPA MEMBERSHIP MEETING THIS WEEK
The New Orleans Photo Alliance invites all photographers to attend its next General Membership Meeting on Thursday, April 2, 7pm at the NOPA Gallery, 1111 St. Mary St.
The featured speaker will be Jerry Ward, a Canon Professional Market Specialist, who will present his program, “Know Your Camera So You Can Be Creative!” More details below in earlier post, and on New Orleans Photo Alliance website.
Free Prints!! Jerry Ward will also be demonstrating the latest Canon printer during the hanging of the Alliance Member’s Push Pin show. If you would like to see what this printer is capable of doing, please bring a few images on a disc to Thursday’s meeting. Please follow FILE SPECS in earlier post.
Jerry will be printing on Friday, April 3 from 3-6pm and on Saturday, April 4 from 1-4pm.

2009 PUSH PIN SHOW
NOPA Gallery 1111 St. Mary St.
The New Orleans Photo Alliance invites photographers to exhibit their latest work in the 2009 PUSH PIN SHOW. All that is required is current membership in NOPA (new or renewal), a $5 entry fee and up to 650 sq. in. of your unmatted photos (equivalant to two 16×20’s.) Attach your prints directly to the wall with push pins; no framing required. Wall space will be filled on a first come, first served basis beginning Friday April 3, 3-6pm and continuing on Saturday April 4 from 8-4pm.
Opening Reception: Saturday April 4, 6-9pm
Exhibition will remain up until May 23, during which time you will be allowed to freshen your allotted wall space with new prints, to make for an everchanging, dynamic and interactive show.
