The OCH Art Market, formerly held on the first Saturday of every month in New Orleans’ Central City, is shifting its schedule a bit for 2011. The market will now open on every second Saturday. Accordingly, the OCH Art Market for the new year will be held on Jan. 8.
The market will be open from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Zeigeist Multi-Disciplinary Arts Center, located at 1618 Oretha Castle Haley Blvd. Spaces for sellers are available for $20 each. For information on reserving a space, please see this previous NOPA blog entry.
For the record, the January OCH Art Market will also feature a slow bike riding contest (the prize for the winner is a bicycle), and produce from the Hollygrove Market.
