OffBeat, a monthly publication that focuses on New Orleans and Louisiana music and culture, is looking for photographs of musicians, including the following, for its October 2012 edition:
- Spencer Bohren (performing)
- Elvin Bishop (portrait or close-up)
- DJ Captain Charles (performing)
If you have photos that fit the bill here, please send thumbnails to OffBeat Art Director Elsa Hahne, and do so by Sunday, Sept. 16. Hahne noted that up to ten thumbnails can be sent, preferably in the body of the e-mail.
The monthly magazine pays $30 per published photo. OffBeat is publication that is distributed for free throughout the New Orleans metro area, with copies also sent to paid subscribers throughout the United States and other countries. Photos are also published on the magazine’s website.
