As part of PhotoNOMA 2014, the New Orleans Photo Alliance will be featuring images and sharing the websites of participating photographers and artists.
Today we are featuring the work of New Orleans based photographer Rebecca Ratliff.
Statement from Rebecca:
I am currently a photography intern at the New Orleans Tourism Marketing Corporation. I am helping the company launch a new platform to their website www.NewOrleansOnline.com. I am a recent LSU graduate with a Bachelor’s of Fine Art in Photography. I want to pursue a career in photojournalism and documentary photography. My passion is telling people’s stories through my photographs. My overall goal is to produce work that will have an impact and educate others of the world around them.

The New Orleans Museum of Art, in partnership with the New Orleans Photo Alliance, is pleased to present PhotoNOMA, a photographers’ portfolio sharing night at the museum. On Friday, April 18 from 5:30pm to 8:30 pm, 100 photographers, from beginners to the well established, will display their work for a community walk-through.
Photography enthusiasts and the public are encouraged to come out to see the wide range of work that will be on display and to take advantage of the wonderful opportunity to meet and engage with the artists.
