The New Orleans Photography Workshops is offering a three-day polymer photogravure workshop with Josephine Sacabo, May 14-16.
Polymer photogravures are a new way of making gravures by exposing in UV light and processing in water – no harsh chemicals are used and the result is as beautiful as a copper gravure.
The workshop includes a shooting component with models, after which participants will learn to create digital negatives and to make gravures on a state-of-the-art press. No prior experience is necessary.
