Press Street celebrates ‘We’re Pregnant’ book project Feb. 28

The publication of “We’re Pregnant,” a book that includes short stories written by  Nathan C. Martin and features the work of three New Orleans photographers, will be celebrated by publisher Press Street on Thursday, Feb. 28, with a “Happy Hour Salon” in the St. Claude Arts District.

Photographers with work in the book include NOPA members Sophie Lvoff and Grissel Giuliano, as well as Akasha Rabut.

“We’re Pregnant” is being published by Press Street via support from The Andy Warhol Foundation. 

The event for Thursday is to be held in Press Street’s Antenna Gallery from 6 to 9 p.m. It will serve as a book launch, as well as a reception for a mounted exhibition. The exhibition, which opened on February 3, will run through Saturday, March 3.

The gallery is located at 3718 St. Claude Avenue in New Orleans.
