I would like to extend an invitation to all members who are interested in the Programming Committee to attend a meeting Tuesday, December 16, 7:00 p.m. at the NOPA Gallery, 1111 St. Mary St.
The Programming Committee is responsible for developing
exhibitions, educational events, public forums, and exchange
programs with other similar institutions.
We will decide on the April/May exhibit theme. The two that are up for discussion are 4X5: NEW VIEWS FROM A CLASSIC CAMERA and AGE: (no subtitle as yet) This exhibit is going to be a 2 – 5 person show centered around a common theme. By the end of the meeting we will have our theme chosen and a subcommittee to work on contacting photographers and other details.
We will also work on various things we will be doing during 2009, two of which are FILM NIGHTS and SIX SHOOTERS (a moderated panel discussion). We would like to do these on a quarterly basis and we will form subcommittees to handle the details. Ideas for other Programming are welcome and encouraged.
If you are unable to attend and want your ideas to be heard please email me @ thomnola@yahoo.com. I will present them for you.
Remember, your voice is the voice of the Photo Alliance so come and be heard. We have a lot to do and it doesn’t get done without you! Look forward to seeing you there. There will be pizza; BYOB.

VP of Programming
