ATLANTA CELEBRATES PHOTOGRAPHY PORTFOLIO REVIEW

The ACP 12 Portfolio Review will be on Saturday, October 16th. Sponsored in part by Turner Broadcasting and their “Turner Voices” initiative, the ACP Portfolio Review brings together curators, gallerists, editors, photographers and artists for a full day of extremely productive engagement and networking.

Registrations for the Portfolio Review will be juried by ACP and Danielle Avram (Curatorial Assistant, Photography & Modern and Contemporary Art at the High Museum of Art) and applicants will need to submit 3-5 jpgs with a brief artist’s statement for consideration. Registration will remain open until 11:59PM EST on July 19th, and successful registrants will be notified the week of July 26th. Once accepted, the registration fee is $250.

There will be 16 reviewers. As of July 7th, our confirmed reviewers include:

Julian Cox – Curator of Photography, High Museum of Art, GA
Sylvie Fortin – Editor, Art Papers Magazine, GA
Stuart Horodner – Artistic Director, Atlanta Contemporary Art Center, GA
Stella Kramer – Independent Photo Editor, Consultant, NY
Yan Li and Li Shufeng – Curators, Beijing, China
Laura Moya – Director, Photolucida, OR
Christopher Rauschenberg – President and Founding Member, Blue Sky Gallery, OR
Anna Walker Skillman – Owner, Jackson Fine Art, GA
Susan Todd-Raque – Private dealer, independent curator, GA
Paula Tongarelli – Executive Director, Griffin Museum of Photography, MA

We will be accepting 52 artists for the ACP 12 Portfolio Review, and each artist will receive four 20 minute, face to face reviews. Review participants may select their choice of reviewers, and ACP will make every effort to meet requests through a computerized matching system.

We’re looking forward to hosting our panel of reviewers and artists from across the country once again at the Grady High School campus. The ACP 12 Portfolio Review is a great way to connect and make contacts with reviewers and fellow artists alike. We hope to see you in October!

Register for the ACP 12 Portfolio Review today! Registration has been extended until July 19th.

Many thanks,

– ACP
