Singer works exhibited at Neophobia for PhotoNOLA

Works by NOPA member Max Singer will be on exhibit in connection with PhotoNOLA 5 at Neophobia, a Crescent City home furnishings store at 2855 Magazine Street in Uptown, through the month of December. The exhibit, “Homage to Monet and Other Works,” will be the first featuring works by Singer in New Orleans since Hurricane Katrina.

An opening reception, featuring Singer, will be held on Saturday, Dec. 4 from 6 to 9 p.m. DJ Ruckus will provide the evening’s musical selections.

Singer is an artist and designer, now working full time in photography, whose work has appeared in national publications including the New York Times and New York magazine.

PhotoNOLA is an annual celebration of photography in New Orleans, coordinated by NOPA in partnership with local galleries, museums and photographers.
