A reception will be held on the evening of Friday, Oct. 7, for “10 Years, 47 Artists,” an exhibit organized in celebration of the 10th anniversary of New Orleans’ A Studio in the Woods.

The reception will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Tulane’s Carroll Gallery, located within the Woldenberg Art Center on the university’s Uptown campus. The exhibit opened on Thursday, Oct. 6, and will run through Thursday, Oct. 27.

The show will highlight work by former artists-in-residence of the studio, a wooded retreat for artists located on the West Bank of Orleans Parish, near the English Turn area. Artist panels and performances will be held throughout the month at the gallery, in connection with the exhibit.
