In celebration of the opening of our new on-site darkroom, the NOPA Resource Center presents an exhibition of darkroom photography. Remember the Darkroom?  is juried by Eddie Ralph Hebert, NOPA’s current Gallery Director. Remember the Darkroom?  will open with a public reception at the NOPA Gallery on July 24, 6 pm. This show features thirty pieces of work by sixteen darkroom photographers:

“This exhibition is in conjunction with the inaugural opening of NOPA’s darkroom. I wanted to remind our photographic community of what is creatively possible in darkrooms like the one now available for use at the NOPA Resource Center. Collectively, these photographers have achieved just that. The photographs presented in this exhibition make up a variety of subject matter, from documentary to experimental, some work created decades ago and others created in the past months.”
