PHOTO NOIR: Light and Shadow in Black and White Film Photography
This exhibit celebrates light—the quintessential element of photography—and the shadows that the help define the emotion, detail and information contained in the photograph. In classic Film Noir movies, shadows accentuated mystery and mood and exposed character and motive. Show us how light and shadow reveal the meaning of your image.
The content of the photographs for this exhibit can range from portraits to still lifes to landscapes. Note that all photos must be made from black and white film, printed in a darkroom.
