Buy nowDonald Maginnis will present a workshop on hand coloring digital prints, similar to the hand coloring of darkroom prints with pencils. The process involves converting color digital images to black and white, printing images on watercolor paper, and painting with water colors. A quick color wheel (primary and secondary and additional colors) plus a quick study exercise will take place prior to the coloring of images. People can complete the conversion process on their own computers and printers or send images to Donald (damarcht@aol.com) to be printed prior to the workshop. If students do not have images, landscapes can be provided. Students can bring their own paint or purchase a paint kit for an additional $20.00. Paper, brushes, and other supplies will be provided.
